Mari Baker was formerly president of BabyCenter, the world's leading Web site for new and expectant parents, and a senior vice president at Intuit, which she joined in 1989 as product manager for Quicken. Ms. Baker led the growth of Quicken into the No. 1 personal finance product in the world. She is also an emeritus trustee of Stanford University.

Dietrich Stephan, Ph.D., Co-founder and Chief Science Officer

Dietrich Stephan is a human geneticist on the faculty of the Translational Genomics Research Institute and chairman of the National Institutes of Health Neuroscience Microarray Consortium. He has identified genes that predispose to disorders such as autism, exercise-induced heart attacks and sudden infant death syndrome, and contributed to understanding a multitude of common disorders such as Alzheimer's disease.

Dr. George also served as vice president of life science research at Affymetrix, leading the company's $200 million-dollar academic business in North America, Europe, Japan and China.

Stephen Moore, General Counsel

Mr. Moore was most recently associate general counsel with Affymetrix, Inc., a publicly traded biotechnology company developing advanced technologies for genetic screening. During his more than eight years at Affymetrix, he was responsible for a wide variety of strategic alliances, collaboration agreements and other transactional matters, including the spin-out of Perlegen Sciences, research collaborations with leading academic institutions such as the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, diagnostic product supply agreements and Affymetrix's Translational Medicine program in the United States and Canada.

Michael Nierenberg, M.D., Medical Director

Dr. Nierenberg has been the personal physician to many of Silicon Valley's CEOs, venture capitalists and lawyers, as well as prominent national and international figures. He has been mentioned frequently in local and national publications as a top internist. Dr. Nierenberg practiced internal medicine in Palo Alto and Menlo Park, California, for 30 years, serves as an emeritus clinical professor of medicine at Stanford University and consults in the legal and venture capital arena. Dr. Nierenberg is also medical advisor to Shalon Ventures, a company developing medical devices.

Before joining Navigenics, Ms. Scott was vice president of finance and administration for BabyCenter, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson. She was responsible for managing finance and all core administrative functions, including human resources, legal and facilities, as the company expanded from start-up stage to becoming the pre-eminent online parenting resource it is today. During her time at BabyCenter, she also acted as the company's chief privacy officer and was instrumental in the international rollout of nine new country-specific sites.
